Choose Her Development Path

Ages 7–9

Foundation Phase

This division focuses on skill introduction and confidence building.

Athletes will learn:

  • Ball handling basics
  • Proper shooting form
  • Footwork and coordination
  • Defensive positioning
  • Understanding spacing and movement
  • Structured game play introduction

This is where young players learn how the game works and begin building belief in themselves.

Ages 10–12

Development Phase

This division builds on fundamentals and increases competitive readiness.

Athletes will focus on:

  • Advanced ball handling and scoring
  • Shooting consistency and range
  • Defensive principles and team concepts
  • Basketball IQ and decision-making
  •  Leadership and communication

This group is challenged to compete with confidence while sharpening skill and awareness.

Does my child need prior basketball experience?
No. Mini Moxie welcomes beginners and developing players. Athletes are grouped by age and skill focus.
What should players bring?
Basketball shoes, athletic attire, water bottle, a basketball, and a positive attitude.
Are games competitive?
Yes, games are structured and instructional, focused on applying learned skills in a supportive environment.
What if spots fill up?
Once 25 athletes per group are registered, enrollment closes. Parents may join the interest list for future cycles.
